The son of Parvati comes to visit us every year and we pray for prosperity and wealth. Ganesha or the pendant visits us on earth on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi granting us health, wealth, and prosperity.

These four days of celebration are indeed a well-awaited event of the year. From the ladoos to Modak no luxury is spared. It is but common sight to feel a certain sadness when it's time for Ganesh to bid us a farewell. We bid goodbye to the Parvati putra through the custom of Visarjan.
